apologies and affirmations

Rest assured that I have not completely forgotten this project, and I apologize for setting it aside for so long!  I should have put more thought into how much time I’d have available when I agreed to run a second round of photos.

I need to track down the old photoshop file of the first compilation, since it seems the majority prefer to add to the original rather than do a second separate compilation. I know where to find the files, I just haven’t had time to dig out that external hard drive and get it onto my computer.

I should also admit that it has gotten a little, “out of sight, out of mind,” which hasn’t helped it get done faster.  Also, my fiancé and have to share one computer, which makes finding the time that much more difficult.  I have to share Photoshop time with his addiction to playing  Pirates, Vikings, and Knights.

Not to mention Skyrim, which monopolized our available fun time for a good two months.

I will get myself focused on it very soon, I swear! Please forgive me for failing you!

Will there be another one?? My camera broke and I missed it this time around too!

Wasn’t planning on it, but if you’d like to email a photo you’ve already got, I can do some kind of heart-themed edit in Photoshop and add it to the current one.  Email would be best, because then I could send you some edits to choose from.

Yeah, I know I keep fudging the “deadline.” Until I’m done making the compilation, I’m really not picky about adding more.

Submissions for the second compilation are now closed, with the exception of one which was already submitted but the image isn’t showing up.  Sent that person a message about it earlier, hopefully she’ll have it emailed soon.

Feel free to make more submissions. Even though they won’t be in the compilation they’ll be here on the site. :)

I will be using one photo per individual in the compilation as before. Which for some just means I get to pick my favorite! :D

I have an idea which I hope will work out…. Since so many included small notes to Tom or had particularly noteworthy details within their image, I’m going to attempt a sort of “footnotes” page with the printout.

I apologize for not wrapping this up two days ago. I just got a bit caught up in life (and Skyrim…..)  But since that means some folks probably slipped in under the deadline, I bet there are no complaints.  ;D

I’ll save all these images to a folder and give you all a final headcount soon as I begin compiling.

Love this project. I wasn’t able to join the first time so I’m glad I get to do something for the second round.
